Optimum Healthcare IT announced that Dan Critchley has joined the organization as CEO of Managed Services. Dan is an accomplished leader with 18 years in the healthcare industry. Before joining Optimum HIT as CEO of the Managed Services entity in May 2015, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the University of Arizona Health Network.
Dan possesses a unique healthcare leadership experience spanning the areas of finance, patient accounting, hospital and clinic administration, and information services and technology. This breadth of experience, along with extensive Lean process improvement training and application has earned Dan a reputation for successfully turning around struggling service lines.
Over the past eight years, as both a consultant and employee, Dan has lead many large organizations through their complex Epic EHR installation and ongoing support phases. These have spanned roles from project director to accountable executive. During this time, he has recognized difficulties organizations face in establishing and maintaining support effective models for EHR systems and users. As such, Dan has joined Optimum HIT to lend his tremendous passion, experience, and success in this area toward adding value to their clients.
